The Selma Lagerlöf Secondary School Band

The school band, The Rocking Spirits, is much more than just a group of music-loving students—it is the musical heart of our school. With high-energy performances, a captivating stage presence, and a diverse repertoire, they thrill a wide audience at every school event and at performances outside the school as well.

The band is made up of talented musicians:

Marie (10c): our bassist, who lays the rhythmic foundation with deep, powerful sounds.

Florian (10c): on guitar, he delivers heavy riffs and soulful solos.

Jaden (10c): our drummer, who drives the band forward with precise timing.

Mr. Striepens: the musical director, who organizes rehearsals with great dedication, arranges new songs, and forms the creative heart of the band.

“El Mar”: our guest singer, who lends the songs a very special touch with his voice.

Nele, Janea & Jolie (all 9c): new voices that say the unspeakable.
