School Song
Selma-Lagerlöf Secondary School has had its own school song since 2016. Students from the first two grades—which were the only ones at the school at the time—wrote the lyrics during a project day led by Ms. Astrid Demtröder and the rapper “Sittin Bull,” also known as Dennis Sonne.
The song was eventually professionally produced by Astrid Demtröder and Thomas Holz, featuring the students’ voices, under the title “Respekt.” Now it is played at our school time and again on special occasions.
