The elective course “Our Website” combines the acquisition of practical computer skills with the hands-on design of our school’s website.

Since the students create actual content for our website, they learn a wide variety of computer techniques.

This involves not only writing texts on the computer and taking photos for posts, but also the visual design of posts, prior research of background information, and adherence to legal frameworks (press law, right to one’s own image, or the use of third-party material).

These tasks take on a new dimension against the backdrop of the increasing use of AI in the media. Here, a critical and constructive approach to new possibilities is reflected upon and applied.
