Economy and world of work

The school subject “Economics and the World of Work” offers students at our school an exciting and diverse opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the modern working world.

In the technical and practical area of the subject, students learn how to create and carry out creative projects with their own hands. Whether working in the workshop or exploring new technologies such as 3D printing and robotics, students acquire practical knowledge that is highly relevant in today’s professional world. They not only develop technical and craft-related skills, but also problem-solving strategies and technical understanding.

In Home Economics, the focus is on learning practical skills in the kitchen. Students discover how to prepare healthy and delicious meals while also learning about nutrition and the sustainable use of food. These abilities are not only important for everyday life but also encourage awareness of healthy lifestyles.

The economic component of the subject provides students with a basic understanding of economics and prepares them for the challenges of professional life. They learn to understand economic relationships, the importance of finance and marketing, and the role of businesses in society.

By combining these three areas, the subject “Economics and the World of Work” becomes particularly practical, relevant, and future-oriented. Students are well prepared to succeed in a constantly changing world. They develop not only practical skills but also a deeper understanding of the economic and social structures that shape our lives.

Together, we create an exciting and educational journey into the worlds of technology, home economics, and business — preparing students for a successful future!
